I've always been drawn to documentary as a unique form of journalism — revealing truths about the human experience that cannot be conveyed by any other medium. I admire filmmakers who expose the nuance of a story and uncover something that would otherwise remain hidden.

I try to create a collaborative edit suite where ideas can be explored freely and time is used effectively. I've learned not to be overwhelmed by large volumes of material and to trust my judgement in finding the right story. My passion is communicating openly in the edit suite so that we can explore all the options, find creative solutions, and ultimately craft a story with clarity, emotion and purpose.
